Howling Bird Press’s annual manuscript competition is open for submissions of fiction! We seek novels, novellas, and book-length collections of short stories. Founded in 2014, we are a student-run book publisher that produces one book a year in alternating genres. Our authors include John Medeiros, Lisa Van Orman Hadley, KateLynn Hibbard, Jean Harper, Jacob M. Appel, and Marci Vogel. Our books are distributed by Small Press Distribution and are available online and at bookstores nationwide.
